Shopping in Weymouth
Weymouth's town centre is home to a mixture of well known
national chains such as Debenhams, M&S, WH Smiths, Woolworths
and Matalan, as well as interesting local shops. There's a small
indoor shopping centre called the Colwell Centre, which is home
to small local businesses.
Weymouth Market is one of the biggest summer markets on the
south coast. This open air market is open every Monday between
June and September, and ever Thursday between April and
Christmas.
Down at the
Old Harbour, there's over 20 retail outlets. Shopping in
this relaxing atmosphere is a genuine treat, with a selection of
shops selling boat and fishing accessories, as well as local
cheeses, pies and jams.
